Our Story

It all began when our founder Regina started looking into building arcade machines, very usual for a 18 year-old who was raised by entrepreneurial parents who rented arcade machines to advance their entertainment centre business.

Regina’s dream of building her own arcade machine was almost crushed when she realized the bad that comes with this kind of business, she listened to local parents lay complains at her parents’ entertainment centre daily. The local parents were unhappy that their children spent most of their time at the centre playing arcade games, they complained that this steals from their children’s’ study time.

Regina later relooked at her dream to build her own arcade machines, it was still crystal clear that the kids loved the centre; they enjoyed playing in one another’s company. She then decided she will step the game up and design games that are educational and yet fun. The desire to build such machines increased numerously when she learnt that 61 million children around the world never receive primary education, and half of those children are in Africa. Being a young African herself, this statistics hit closer to home.

That is how the idea of educade came about; "edu" for educational and "cade" for arcade machines. We now have fully operating educade machines that are to provide unprivileged children with quality primary school education, the machines also enhances the learning of a privileged kid in a laid-back enjoyable manner .Overall the educade machines are suitable for all primary school children across the world
